This is accomplished by combining a building creation wizard, anenergy efficiency measure (EEM) wizard and a graphical results display module with anenhanced DOE-2-derived building energy use simulation program.IMPORTANT:ALL participants MUST have their own laptop computers with administrator/installationrights. Participants are urged to pre-install the free, fully functional Equest 3.65. They ideallyshould also have auto-cad or they should be familiar with auto-cad drawings.Computers should have minimum 4GB RAM, and at least 25GB free space. Please bring amouse, Equest has a CAD like interface! If participants do not follow the instructions above, their learning outcomes and experience at the workshop will be compromised. This workshopis an introduction to commercial software. Changes to this software tool are ongoing and theuser would normally obtain updates to that software as required. The presenters can assume noresponsibility for such changes.
